Then we will discuss some guidelines for improvement suggested by the literature, and some of their attempts at implementing those guidelines. Since each course is different, there is no perfect one-method-to-rule-them-all. We would love to hear your experiences and feedback on this topic as well.Albeit it is not the role of a university lecturer to therapeutically heal, help or assist a student in need - how to respond and act appropriately in such a circumstance, however, very much is. Supervising this process is nearly as complex and requires various competencies: supervisors need to support students during their writing processes without interfering insufficiently or too much. Today, they even need to deal with the fact that their students use AI-tools like ChatGPT in their academic writing. In this course, we reflect these and other challenges and build up the necessary skills to address them properly.
