Bringing learners together – the EuroTeQ Campus

Our EuroTeQ Campus is a platform for innovative, open education. The six universities of science and technology –  TUM, DTU, TU/e, l’X, CTU and TalTech – are opening their learning environments and teaching offers to their students. EPFL and Technion strenghten our efforts and enrich our campus’ offers even more.  Taking part in our joint courses will support students’ intercultural and multilingual competences, contribute to an entrepreneurial mindset, and teach them to think and act responsibly. With physical mobility programmes for all and shared virtual formats, the EuroTeQ Campus allows for a truly European learning experience.

Joint course catalogue

Here, students have the unique opportunity to join selected courses offered by the partner universities. The courses are mostly online, to promote virtual mobility across partners. The selected offers reflect the academic excellence of the partners, their interdiciplinary approaches, as well as their innovative teaching formats. The course catalogue will continue to grow, as our teachers start to collaborate and bring about new educational offers for EuroTeQ students.

Copenhagen and DTU are very international. Students from all over the world come together and exchange ideas. That's what I liked most about my Erasmus stay. If you want to live in one of the most innovative and coolest cities in Europe, I recommend to study abroad at DTU.

Mobility programmes

EuroTeQ offers great opportunities for international and intercultural experiences. We encourage all students to spend some time during their studies at one of our partner universities.

This can be done through structured study abroad programmes, such as spending a semester or a full year at a partner university through the Erasmus+ programme. Double degrees, short-term mobilities like summer schools, student competitions or a research stay are possible. We are continuously expanding our exchange agreements and invite students to get in contact with their International Office at their home university to discover the many possibilities and apply for an exchange.

Entrepreneurship education

Entrepreneurship is one of the strong elements in our alliance’s joint profile. Together, all EuroTeQ partners provide a unique framework to engage in entrepreneurship and innovation activities. Entrepreneurship courses, project work and support structures for start-ups will be opened up across partners. Every student is encouraged to join these formats. They can be integrated in many study plans and at many levels and add a relevant competency to every professional profile of future engineers.

International classroom

Across universities, we aim to cultivate a mindset where diversity and multilingualism are strengths and where home is heavily connected with Europe and its values.

To achieve these goals, we will offer language courses, as well as intercultural trainings, which you can find in the joint course catalogue. This will contribute to multilingualism of students, and it will help students and professionals to operate in an international working environment and communicate with partners in their subject area.

EuroTeQ partners have developed common guidelines, the EuroTeQ_Diversity_Statement, to promote all dimensions of diversity in the education we provide, including principles and tools for inclusiveness and non-discrimination.

Opportunities for staff

As staff member you can also benefit from the EuroTeQ Campus. Academic and administrative staff from different units at each partner university work together to make the ambitious goals of the EuroTeQ Engineering University a reality. But also colleagues who have not previously engaged in an international project are now encouraged to be part of the vibrant EuroTeQ community.

We offer targeted Erasmus+ staff mobilities for training visits and work shadowing. Best practice exchange is nurtured through connecting specialized administrative staff with their counterparts at the partner institutions.

Flexible study paths and qualifications

The fast-changing living realities and challenges to society demand new skills and competencies that the traditional approach to curriculum development cannot meet. EuroTeQ wants to make engineering education future-proof by developing new and flexible short-cycle approaches. Our universities and associated partners will team up to develop flexible and tailor-made educational offers that match the changing needs of students and professionals.

EuroTeQ will define individual learning paths and a continuing education track for students and lifelong learners from different professional backgrounds, including micro-credentials.
