What is the EuroTeQ Academy?
The Academy is a network of experts who work in the field of lifelong learning within the participating universities in the EuroTeQ Alliance. They share knowledge with others or support activities like developing professional education offers and micro-credentials. The Academy also provides a platform for discussing theories and finding practical solutions for lifelong learning. The target group consists of staff members and academic personnel from participating EuroTeQ partners departments.
How does the Academy work in practice?
The EuroTeQ Academy is organized in different working streams, which collaborate virtually and asynchronously on a Microsoft Teams channel hosted by the University IT and meet online frequently.
Stream 1 – Lifelong Learning framework
Focus Areas:
Digital Marketing and Sales of Lifelong Learning Courses
- Program Development: Designing and developing courses and programs that meet the needs of learners.
- Participant Management
- Administrative Issues
Target Audience:
- Program Manager / Developer
- Marketing Manager
Meeting Schedule:
- Monthly virtual meetings
- Enables asynchronous, collaborative work among members

Stream 2 – Teaching in Lifelong Learning scenarios
Focus Areas:
- How to design a micro-credential
- Successful Teaching and Learning Methods: Identifying and applying effective methods in professional education.
- Sharing Best Practices:
Exchanging best practices in teaching micro-credential and professional education courses.
Target Audience:
- Teachers, lecturers in professional education inside the EuroTeQ network, aiming to enhance and internationalize their teaching offerings for professional learners in the form of a micro-credential
Expert Contributions:
- Experts in higher education didactics and pedagogy provide insights from research and practice, like learning formats and learning methods
Best-practice-exchange format:
- Enables exchange and networking among members from different universities and academic backgrounds
- Fosters cooperation between instructors across the EuroTeQ members
