Preparing the Future-Proof Engineer
The 21 Future Competences developed within the EuroTeQ represent a shared vision of the skills, knowledge, and mindsets engineers will need over the next 5-10 years.
They were identified through a broad and iterative process involving universities, industry partners, research institutions, alumni, and Local Advisory Boards. Workshops, surveys, interviews, and online consultations ensured diverse and practice-oriented input.

An Evolving and Lifelong Approach
Future competences are not static. With rapid technological and societal change, universities are encouraged to review and update the 21 competences regularly and align them with institutional strategies and Lifelong Learning initiatives.
