Programme Objectives and Approach
The European Leadership Programme on Industrial Science (ELPIS) is an executive education programme developed by the EuroTeQ University Alliance partners.
ELPIS aims to address the significant challenges European industries face in maintaining global competitiveness. As companies seek to innovate through research in fields such as AI, biotech, photonics etc (The 10 Critical Technologies of the EU), the programme focuses on:

Critical technologies interact and overlap, AI and quantum computing influences all science and research results and speeds up work processes and result that lead to an increase in products, services and results.
Helping companies explore opportunities for innovation by understanding the convergence of technologies, understanding how deep tech works and the importance of creating effective environments for entrepreneurship.
- Introducing an novel approach to leadership for industrial science that blends interdisciplinary insights. The goal is to empower participants to shape company strategies through effective personal leadership in R&D, Product Development etc.

Programme Structure
The programme is organized into 5 modules, each lasting 4 days, held in-person at 8 different leading technical universities and business schools across Europe. The first module, “Leadership for Industrial Science,” is designed to set the stage for the subsequent three technology-focused modules. Succesful active participation in the modules is rewarded by an individual course diploma. The experience culminates with a Capstone Project module enabling participants to integrate and apply their learnings in real-world scenarios relevant for their respective companies. Handing in the Capstone project for review by a European academic panel leads to the issuing of an executive programme certificate.
