Paris, June 25 – The future of the EuroTeQ alliance took an important step forward as members of the Management Board, Secretariat, Student Council, and colleagues from across the consortium gathered in Paris for a strategic 1.5-day meeting, kindly hosted by HEC Paris and École Polytechnique (L’X). The meeting focused on shaping the next phase of the alliance and preparing for the upcoming funding period, with discussions centered on strategic priorities, collaboration frameworks, and the future vision of EuroTeQ.
A major highlight of the meeting was the participation of Imperial College London, which formally presented its intention to join EuroTeQ as a new partner in the next proposal. As one of the world’s leading public research universities, Imperial College London is internationally recognized for excellence in science, engineering, medicine, and business, with a strong emphasis on innovation and interdisciplinary research. Its inclusion would further strengthen EuroTeQ’s capacity to develop joint educational programs, foster entrepreneurship, and advance collaborative solutions to global technological challenges.
The Paris meeting brought together representatives from all EuroTeQ universities in a highly interactive format, with round tables and workshops dedicated to refining the alliance’s vision, mission, structure, and work organization. Management Board members shared their institutional perspectives, while group sessions enabled participants to discuss and align on partner roles, leadership responsibilities, and budget principles for the next funding cycle. The sessions concluded with a collective agreement on the main elements of EuroTeQ’s draft vision and mission statement, as well as a roadmap for finalizing work package structures and strengthening collaboration frameworks in the months ahead.
