Freising/Munich, September 18 – The EuroTeQ Management Board, together with representatives of the alliance’s Secretariat, Work Packages and Student Council, met in Freising and Munich on 17–18 September for two days of strategic discussions about the future of the alliance.
Hosted by the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the meeting focused on shaping EuroTeQ’s future vision and mission, preparing for the upcoming Erasmus+ European Universities call, and aligning the alliance’s work packages, governance and budget principles.
Building on the work initiated at the previous Management Board meeting in Paris, representatives exchanged their perspectives and further developed a shared direction for the alliance’s next phase. Discussions covered Work Packages objectives, planned activities and tasks, with particular attention to how the different areas of work can contribute to the future of European universities’ education. The meeting concluded with an agreement on the next steps, responsibilities and timeline towards the preparation of the alliance’s next proposal.
The two-day meeting brought together representatives from across the EuroTeQ partnership, including the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), HEC Paris, IESE Business School, École Polytechnique (L’X), Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), as well as representatives of Imperial College London (ICL) and the Brussels office.
The Freising and Munich meeting marked another important milestone in EuroTeQ’s ongoing work to build a strong and collaborative European engineering education alliance.
