The EuroTeQ Joint Teaching Initiative 2027
We invite academic staff to connect with colleagues across Europe and develop innovative teaching concepts that can be put into practice.
Transform an idea for your course into an international learning experience, together with colleagues from leading technical universities. The EuroTeQ Joint Teaching Initiative 2027 offers academic staff the opportunity to exchange expertise, build new partnerships and co-create teaching concepts that bring an international dimension to students’ education.
You don’t need a partner or a finished idea to get started
The initiative is open to academic staff who want to explore new approaches to teaching and learning. Whether you are considering a joint course, experimenting with digital teaching methods or looking for new ways to engage students, you can use the programme to develop your idea with colleagues from across the EuroTeQ Alliance.
An online matchmaking event on 3 November 2026 will help participants find potential partners and explore shared interests. The programme then continues with online sessions and, for established groups, an on-site design camp at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in March 2027.
From a first idea to a practical teaching concept
Participants can explore a range of collaborative approaches, including:
- Designing a new joint course with international partners.
- Co-teaching an online learning unit.
- Developing shared teaching materials, problems and exercises.
- Exploring innovative approaches to assessment and meaningful feedback.
- Experimenting with hybrid and digital learning, including the use of artificial intelligence in education.
The goal is to develop a concrete teaching concept and a practical plan for implementation. Participants are expected to collaborate with at least one partner from another EuroTeQ university and be ready to put their resulting concept into practice.
What’s in it for you?
By joining the initiative, you can broaden your teaching expertise, discover approaches used in different disciplines and educational contexts, and build professional connections that may lead to long-term collaboration.
Your teaching concept can become part of the EuroTeQ Course Catalogue, giving students across the alliance access to new international learning opportunities.
You do not need to have an established partnership or a fully developed proposal before joining. Participants who do not find a partner or are not selected for the on-site design camp can still take part in the online activities.
